LODGING ARRANGEMENT

The Academic Staff College makes arrangement for the stay of participants in certain privately owned guesthouses. The participants are free to exercise their choice about their stay for which they have to immediately contact the concerned guesthouse after receiving selection letter from the ASC.

• HOTEL CITY INN: About 100 meters from Summer Hill Railway Station, half a kilometer from ASC. All rooms are with attached bath, geyser, colour T.V. and intercom. Tariff: per day inclusive of luxury tax- Room No. 1 (3 bedded) Rs. 125/- per bed, Room No. 2, 3, 4 & 5 (2 bedded) Rs. 150/- per bed. Room No. 6, 10, 11, 12 & 14 (2 bedded) Rs. 110/- per bed, Room No. 7, 8, 9 & 15 (3 bedded) Rs. 100 per bed. Rates of Tea, Breakfast & Dinner: Tea Rs.5/-, Milk Rs.10/- per 200 gm., Breakfast Rs.30/- (2 paranthas curd or butter & pickle. Dinner Thali Rs.45/- (subzi, dal, rice,4 chapatti & salad) (Special dinner weekly at same price i.e. Rs. 45/-). Other facilities of Laundry, Sight Seeing, Photostat, Typing, Printing, Fax, Net, Transport Reservations are also available on payment.
  
  
• CHANDEL GUEST HOUSE (MIDDLE SANGTI SUMMER HILL): Old Accommodation Ground Floor: Room No.1G, 2G, 3G: Rs.75/- per person per day (two persons in a room) having facility of hot water for bathing. New Accommodation: Room No. 1 & 2 – Rs.125/- per person per day (two persons in a room) having TV, hot water facility for bathing and attached toilet. Room No.3 & 4 – Rs.100/- per person per day (three persons in a room) having of TV, hot water facility for bathing and toilet in front of room. Room No.5 & 6 – Rs.125/- per person per day (two persons in a room) having of TV, hot water facility for bathing and attached toilet. Room No.7 & 8 Attic – Rs.110/- per person per day (two persons in a room) having TV, hot water facility for bathing and toilet adjacent to room. Facilities of homely food and STD available. • SPARSH GUEST HOUSE: Rs. 100/- per person per day, hot water available, facilities of homely food. (Phone: 094186-98307, 094186-98302) about 1½ km. from Summer Hill Railway Station and 1½ km from ASC.  Rs. 25/- for conveyance charges from Guest House to ASC and back.  Rooms have colour TV and attached bath. Note: Due to paucity of accommodation, the participants are advised not to bring their families with them and if they bring, they will have to make their own arrangement for stay in accommodation other than earmarked for Academic Staff College.
